The problem it solves
The hardest parts to buy are the ones you cannot name. Searching for “that round thing behind the CVT cover” gets nowhere, and sellers cannot help without dimensions. What actually works is a traced outline and eight numbers — and those are the same eight numbers every time, whatever the part is.

How to use it
- 01Check the calibration bar with a steel rule before you measure anything.
- 02Lay the part flat on the grid and draw round it. Mark every hole centre.
- 03Record the markings exactly, including characters that look like noise — cast numbers are often the real part number.
