Who actually makes Bennche, Llc.?

What the Bennche filings say about the engines

Bennche's filings mix carburettors and fuel injection: 2 rows carburetted, 25 injected. The first injected family appears in 2015; in 2017 the split was 0 carburetted to 6 injected. Check which you have before buying anything on the fuel side.

The engine codes on Bennche's test vehicles —9 distinct across the filings — are led by HS185MR-4, HS1P65MM, HS2V91MY-1, HS1102MU and HS170MM. The code is stamped on the crankcase and is a better search term than the badge.

21 of the 27 filings are 50-state (California-legal); the other 6 were 49-state only.

Rated power across the range runs from 12 kW to 48.9 kW (about 16 to 66 hp).

The vehicle builders named are Chongqing Huansong Science and Technology Industrial Co., Ltd., Chongqing Huansong Science and Technologies Industrial Co., Ltd. and CHONGQING HUANSONG INDUSTRIES (GROUP) CO., LTD — the chassis and the engine do not always share a source.

Each figure is read straight off the EPA certificate rows; the per-family pages below carry the full breakdown for every engine family.
